Our backstory
Mineko Cafe was founded by my wife and I on a shared love for cats and a deep appreciation for Japanese culture, which has greatly influenced our "kawaii" (cute) theme.
Our passion for exploring new cuisines and trying out different dishes led to the creation of "Mineko Food Love Story". It all began with restaurant hopping and over the years, our love for food has only intensified. As a couple, we have been on this culinary journey for 9 years and continuing.
The first pop-up café in a concept store opened its doors in 2017, where we served Japanese street food and pastries. In November 2022, we collaborated with Manu Gelato in Geneva as our second pop-up shop. That same year, we've made a slight shift in our focus to specialize in fusion Asian cuisine with a minimalist concept.
And now here we are passionate about bringing you the most delicious dishes possible, using local and asian ingredients. We can't wait to share our piece of yummyness with you.
